Our Editorial Standards
— In short
Every guide on Relocation Assist is researched from primary sources, reviewed by our editorial team and updated on a published schedule. Where regulated advice is needed, we introduce clients to qualified professionals rather than offering it ourselves.
How we research relocation guides
Our editorial team starts every guide from primary government sources — immigration ministries, tax authorities, embassies and healthcare regulators in the relevant country. We then layer on on-the-ground knowledge from our destination partners and coordinators, and finally we fact-check published figures against the most recent official documents.
Sources we use
We rely on official government and regulator websites first, recognised international bodies (such as the OECD or WHO) second, and reputable journalism third. We avoid linking to other relocation companies, paid-placement directories or content farms.
What we do and don't advise on
We help clients understand the landscape, sequence their move, prepare documents and coordinate specialists. We do not provide regulated immigration, legal, tax or financial advice. Where formal advice is required, we introduce clients to qualified, regulated professionals in the relevant jurisdiction.
Correction policy
If you spot an error in any of our guides, please email editorial@relocation-assist.com. We aim to investigate within five working days and, where a correction is warranted, update the page with a dated note explaining what changed and why.
Review dates on country pages
Every country guide carries a "Last reviewed" date. Country pages are reviewed at least every six months. Visa, residency and tax pages are reviewed sooner whenever a regulator announces a material change.
Expert review process
For visa, tax and legal content, drafts are reviewed by our partner network of regulated immigration advisers, cross-border tax professionals and lawyers in the relevant jurisdiction before publication. Reviewers are credited where they have agreed to be named.
